The AEG LD 8.0 microprocessor charger uses technological advances and automotive engineering to provide you with a modern charger for automotive batteries.

In addition to the well-known functions, the HF MCU (High-Frequency Micro Control Unit) was used for the first time in AEG chargers.

Thanks to this system, it is possible to charge a car battery with 9 charging levels 20% faster and more gently than comparable competing products with charging levels 9, 10, 11 and more.

Another feature of the AEG LD 8.0 microprocessor charger is the automatic start function, thanks to which the charger starts programmatically in the event of a network failure after the mains voltage re-entry and continues the charging process.

This ensures that the load is maintained continuously for several months. After selecting the connected battery type (6 V/12 V or 24 V LD 8.0), the charger detects the battery capacity and battery status and calculates the required charging parameters (charging voltage, charging current).

This enables efficient and safe charging. If an incorrect battery voltage is set or the battery is faulty, the charging process does not occur, and the LED "Error" (9) lights up.

The microprocessor charger is manufactured to charge open and various closed batteries, such as those built into cars, ships, trucks and other vehicles.

The AEG LD 8.0 microprocessor charger is suitable for the following battery types:

- Lead-acid batteries (liquid electrolyte)

- Lead-acid batteries without maintenance (MF)

- Gel batteries (electrolyte resembling jelly)
