20° Basic Camping Sleeping Bag
Our designers who camp on campsites themselves have created a sleeping bag for sleeping in temperatures of approx. 20°C. Our goal? Sleeping bag with full-length zipper. Can be used as a quilt. 5 years warranty.
On all our sleeping bags we provide "comfort temperatures" tested in independent laboratories (AITEX) in accordance with the European standard NF ISO 23537 of 21.01.2017. "Comfort temperature" is the lowest temperature at which the user in a relaxed position feels essentially thermal balance, i.e. it is not cold or warm (it is determined for the average woman under normal conditions of use). CHOOSE A SLEEPING BAG DEPENDING ON THE COMFORT TEMPERATURE.
The comfort limit temperature is the temperature at which the hunched user of the sleeping bag remains in thermal equilibrium, feels neither heat nor cold (guidelines for a statistical man under normal conditions of use).
The sleeping bag does not produce heat, but only retains the heat produced by the body. If an exhausted and cold person enters a damp and icy sleeping bag, he will be cold regardless of its properties. Temperatures therefore depend on a person’s cold resistance (body structure, fatigue, etc. ), its equipment (insulation of the mattress from the ground, etc. ), clothes (e.g. naked, in underwear) and from climatic conditions (e.g. moisture, wind).
Dress lightly (one layer of clothing is enough). Warm up the limbs: hat, gloves, socks, warmers, warming ointments... A bottle with warm water can serve as a hot water bottle (if there is no risk of unwanted opening! ). Tighten your muscles (70% of the energy consumed is converted into heat), without moving, so as not to produce a cold stream of air. To wash the sleeping bag less often, use a special sheet.
