Many construction and renovation works require the use of dry materials, the humidity of which does not exceed a certain upper level. This also applies to the permissible humidity of various substrates intended for further finishing. The percentage of water content in a given material will help you to check the moisture meter.

UniversalHumid from BOSCH enables the following applications: moisture control of firewood to reduce exhaust emissions, control of material moisture prior to painting, control of wooden structures, e.g. in order to avoid their deformation, preventing the growth of mold, installing parquet flooring and inspecting wooden houses or caravans before purchase.

The AUTOTEST function allows you to check the correct operation of the measuring device.

Two metal electrodes placed on the front of the device used to carry out the measurement.

LED light indication to indicate whether the wood is dry (green light) or wet (red light), yellow light indicates lower moisture level (12% - 20%) has been detected, allowing further action if needed.

Moisture reading displayed in percent for easy and quick measurement reading.

The automatic record of the last two measurements visible on the liquid crystal display of the device enables a very quick and easy comparison of the values.

Two groups of wood to choose from, thanks to which the moisture meter offers a wide range of measurement:

• group A - maple, birch, larch, cherry, spruce (from 7.1% to 74.7%)
• group B - ash, pine, oak, walnut, beech (from 6.4% to 61.9%)

The battery charge status indicator keeps the device fully operational and informs the user when it is time to replace the battery pack.

The wrist band in the standard equipment protects the device against accidental damage.
