MCT Oil by NOW Foods is a high quality supplement containing 1000 mg of medium chain triglycerides (MCTs) in each capsule. MCTs are natural fats found in coconut oils and palm kernels. They are distinguished among other types of fats (dominant in food) by their special chemical structure. Thanks to this, they are easier to digest and absorbed faster. MCTs are metabolized very quickly by the liver, where they are used in the form of energy. Thus, they do not accumulate in the body in the form of adipose tissue. Research suggests that regular consumption of MCTs helps maintain a healthy weight.

MCT Oil contains naturally occurring fatty acids: caprylic acid (C8: 0) and capric acid (C10: 0).
