Connecting the driving recorder to the fuse box with an adapter allows you to constantly power the recorder from the car battery, regardless of whether the car is turned on or off. With this solution, you can take advantage of the advanced features of the driving recorder, such as parking mode.

The main task of the power adapter is to process the voltage of 12-24V to 5V and protect the vehicle battery from complete discharge preventing start-up. If the battery level drops to a certain level, the adapter will automatically turn off the driving recorder.

✅ How to connect the adapter in the fuse box

To connect the adapter properly, we must first find a fuse that has power even on the car's ignition off. The adapter has three input wires:

• Battery+ (yellow) - connected to a DC power supply circuit, which provides voltage even after switching off the ignition.
• ACC (red) - connected to the circuit, which is active after turning on the ignition in the car (turning the key in the ignition).
• GND (black) - mass, must be attached e.g. to the car body element.
