Rekarnival is a preparation that supplements the diet with L-carnitine in people who may experience a deficiency caused by, for example: reduced absorption, metabolism and transport of L-carnitine; insufficient amount of ingredients in the diet that determine the metabolism of L-carnitine (e.g. iron, vitamins C, B6 and niacin); reduced amount of L-carnitine in the diet (e.g. vegetarian diet); increased urinary excretion of L-carnitine; increased demand for L-carnitine, e.g. during physical exertion, using a high-fat diet. The main function of carnitine is to transport free fatty acids to the mitochondrial matrix in which they are oxidized. The need of a mature organism for carnitine is covered in 25% by endogenous synthesis, and in 75% by food. The richest source of carnitine is red meat. In the body, the precursors of carnitine are primarily lysine (amino acid) and methionine (amino acid), as well as ascorbic acid, niacin, vitamin B6 and Fe2+ ions. Carnitine is synthesized in the liver, kidneys and brain. Approximately 75% of the total human carnitine content is free. In a small percentage, carnitine is metabolized to methylcholine, but during hunger and during a rich-fat diet, the amount of methylcholine excreted increases. Polyunsaturated OMEGA-3 fatty acids. These include, for example, Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). These acids are not synthesized in the body, so they must be supplied, e.g. with food. DHA is the main structural lipid compound of the brain and nervous system. The cell membrane of the gray matter of the brain contains very large amounts of DHA. DHA contributes to the proper functioning of the brain. The beneficial effect occurs when consuming 250 mg of DHA per day. EPA is a substrate for DHA production and can be easily converted into DHA. EPA is essential for the transmission of information between nerve fibers. Vitamin B6, (pyridoxine) is a coenzyme of many metabolic reactions, among others, it participates in the synthesis of neurotransmitters, compounds that are responsible for the transmission of impulses in the nervous system. It helps in the proper functioning of the nervous system and in maintaining proper mental performance (e.g. affects the functions of nerve cells, which are responsible for concentration, learning ability and memory). It contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism, protein and glycogen metabolism. Vitamin B6 also contributes to the regulation of hormonal activity.

Rekarnival is a dietary supplement designed to supplement L-carnitine, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B6 and magnesium. Recommended for physically active people, overloaded with mental work and children over 6 years of age.
