K2+D3-Vit Softgel Active are soft, oil capsules with vitamin K derived from fermentation and vitamin D from sheep wool lanolin. Vitamin K helps maintain healthy bones and contributes to normal blood clotting. Vitamin D helps in the proper absorption/use of calcium and phosphorus and in maintaining normal levels of calcium in the blood. Vitamin D helps maintain healthy bones and teeth and helps in the proper functioning of muscles. Due to the fact that vitamins K and D belong to fat-soluble substances, there is an oil inside the capsule that helps in their proper absorption.
Pursuant to Resolution No. 1/2021 of 19 February 2021, the maximum amount of vitamin D in the recommended daily portion in dietary supplements at the level of: 4000 IU (100mcg) intended only for healthy people over 75 years of age is determined and allowed.
