Gymnema sylvestre by NOW Foods is a high-quality natural supplement containing an extract of Gymnema sylvestre herb, known and used for centuries.

Gymnema sylvestre is also known as gurmar, and due to its properties it is often also colloquially referred to as a "sugar destroyer". Naturally, it occurs primarily in southern India and southeast Asia. It has been used for centuries as an element of traditional Ayurvedic medicine.

Modern research has shown that gymnema sylvestre positively affects the work of the pancreas, thanks to which it can support healthy glucose metabolism. In addition, gurmar has strong antioxidant properties and effectively sweeps away free radicals.
