Pregnancy is a unique period in which your child goes through different stages of development.

In the second trimester, he has already developed all the organs and begins to grow intensively. During this time, its internal organs and nervous system mature.

In the third trimester, the respiratory system, brain and organ of vision mature, the amount of body fat increases. During breastfeeding, breast milk is the main source of nutrients for the baby – their proper amount in the food is crucial for its further proper development.

From 13. the pregnancy week significantly increases the demand for DHA1, which accounts for as much as 97% of all fatty acids in the brain. Did you know that your body cannot synthesize it? That is why it is so important to provide the right amount during this period.

Pueria Duo helps supplement the diet with 600 mg of DHA, which supports the proper development of the brain and eyes in the fetus and breastfed infants.

Recommended ingredients by PTGiP

• in quantities consistent with the latest guidelines from 07/2021: folic acid, vitamin D, iodine, DHA.
• Important, Pueria Duo does not contain iron – according to the latest PTGiP1 guidelines, iron supplementation is recommended only in specific cases, because its excess may have an adverse effect on the course of pregnancy.

Choline

• contributes to the maintenance of normal homocysteine metabolism. The correct level of homocysteine affects the proper course of pregnancy.

600 mg DHA in natural triglyceride form

• that is, the one that occurs naturally in the body. Thanks to this, it can be better absorbed by the human body.

Two sources of folate

• folic acid and its active form: calcium L-methylfolate, which does not have to undergo such a multi-stage transformation into an active form as inactive folic acid and can be immediately used by the body.
• The possibility of using folic acid by the body is determined by the MTHFR gene, whose mutation occurs in up to 50% of the population1. In these people, the effectiveness of converting folic acid to its active form can be reduced by up to 70%. Scientific research confirms that many people do not fully metabolize folic acid, which results in too little of its active form in the blood.

Capsule ingredients with vitamins and minerals:

choline bitartrate (choline); hydroxypropylcellulose (capsule); calcium L-methylfolate (folic acid); pteroilomonoglutamic acid (folic acid); potassium iodide (iodine); cholecalciferol (vitamin D).

Ingredients of DHA capsule:

triglycerides of omega-3 fatty acids from fish, including docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA); beef gelatin (capsule); moisture-retaining substance: glycerol.
