Prenatal® dha is a preparation especially recommended for pregnant women and during breastfeeding. It contains a high portion of docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) component particularly important for the proper development of the child. Supplementing DHA from the beginning of pregnancy has a positive effect on the saturation of mother’s tissues, and its active transport to the fetus takes place at the turn of the second and third trimesters. The human body has a limited ability to synthesize this polyunsaturated omega-3 fatty acid. The main source of DHA are fatty sea fish, which, according to research, are consumed in too little by women in Poland.

Proper development of the brain, retina of the child's eye* DHA is also necessary for the development of the child's nervous system. Its delivery during pregnancy is particularly important for the development of the brain and retina of the child's eye.

The recommendations of the group of Experts of the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians were based on scientific evidence with the highest level of credibility regarding the impact of DHA on the reduction of premature birth (< 34. t.c.). Due to the low intake of this fatty acid in the polish population, it is recommended to use a portion of not less than 600 mg / day throughout pregnancy. For women at high risk of preterm delivery, a higher portion is recommended – 1000 mg / day.

Did you know that from the first days of pregnancy you are able to influence the development and health of your baby in the future? In addition to the genes that the baby inherits from its parents, certain traits can be developed by providing the right nutrients already during pregnancy. Inheritance “over” genes is called epigenetics. Prenatal® DHA contains the Epigenetic Nutrition Plan® formula. It is a set of ingredients with high bioavailability in portions recommended by experts. By their action already at the stage of fetal development they determine m.in. its susceptibility to civilization diseases and development, and thus quality of life.

For use in the first trimester of pregnancy together with Prenatal® uno for proper saturation of tissues we have nutrients and in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy in combination with Prenatal® duo in case of increased demand for docosahexaenoic acid. During breastfeeding, the use of Prenatal® dha may be particularly important due to the further development of the baby's brain.

DHA supports normal eye development in the fetus and breastfed infants.

DHA affects brain development.

The beneficial effect occurs when consuming 200 mg of DHA per day above the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e.: 250 mg of DHA and eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA).

Usage:

It is best to take 1 or 2 capsules daily with a meal. With increased demand, the method of use should be consulted with a doctor. Do not exceed the recommended portion during the day.

Prenatal DHA can be used from the beginning of pregnancy until the end of breastfeeding. In order to increase the supply of DHA and EPA, Prenatal® dha after consulting a doctor can be used in the first trimester of pregnancy together with Prenatal® uno, in the second and third trimesters of pregnancy together with Prenatal® duo and during breastfeeding together with Prenatal® lacto.

Do not exceed the recommended portion for consumption during the day. A balanced diet and proper lifestyle is important for the functioning of the human body. A dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet. The beneficial effects of the ingredients of the preparation, which are mentioned in health claims, result from the appropriate amount of active ingredients used according to the method of use.
