Description:

MULTILAC® is a modern synbiotic containing as many as 9 selected strains of bacteria and a nutrient - oligofructose, which restores the natural bacterial flora during diarrhea and antibiotic therapy.

Action and application:

Thanks to the innovative MURE® (Multi Resistant Encapsulation) technology, the bacteria present in MULTILAC® are characterized by increased resistance to low pH of gastric juice, bile salts and digestive enzymes. This allows them to adapt and maintain high biological activity of bacteria. The nutrient contained in the MULTILAC® synbiotic is a source of energy needed for the growth of bacteria, enabling them to multiply faster in the digestive tract. MULTILAC® does not contain milk, lactose or casein.

What is intestinal microflora and what is its function?

The intestinal microflora consists of more than 500 species of microorganisms. Among them, we distinguish anaerobic and aerobic microorganisms. They can be divided into beneficial and pathogenic (“bad”). Properly balanced intestinal microflora corresponds to m.in. behind:

• proper functioning of the intestines
• prevention of gastrointestinal colonisation by pathogenic bacteria
• participation in digestion – breakdown of compounds not absorbed by humans

What bacteria can be considered beneficial?

The most popular strains include bacteria that produce lactic acid of the genus:

Is it worth using synbiotics with special protection technology?

Live bacteria are very sensitive to adverse external conditions (e.g. moisture, high temperature). They are also not resistant to adverse conditions in the digestive tract. Under the influence of digestive enzymes, bile salts or low pH of gastric juice, bacteria lose their activity and their effectiveness is low. The MURE® technology used in MULTILAC® protects live strains of bacteria against the destructive effects of stomach acid, thus contributing to better colonization of beneficial strains and increased effectiveness in the intestines.

Use:
