Crapeseed lecithin

A mixture whose main ingredient is phospholipids, m.in. Phosphatidylcholine, which are natural components of human milk(3). The product uses deoiled powdered rapeseed lecithin, which contains a significant portion of valuable phospholipids in a small amount of raw material (deoiled lecithin)(4).

Bromelain

A natural mixture of enzymes derived from pineapple, which have the ability to digest proteins(5). It exhibits a number of properties, m.in. immunomodulatory and growth-restrictive microorganisms(6)(7).

Zinc

It contributes to the maintenance of normal fatty acid metabolism.

Scientific data:

• It has been proven that an adequate supply in the diet of m.in. zinc affects the synthesis of polyunsaturated fatty acids in erythrocyte phospholipids and milk(8)(9). This is what m.in means. for the physical properties of milk – reducing its viscosity and facilitating the outflow(2).

• During lactation, there may be a difficult outflow of milk and its retention in the milk ducts. There is a likelihood of growth of some bacteria (10).

• It is indicated that the use of lecithin affects the amount of polyunsaturated fatty acids in milk, and thus its viscosity and outflow from milk ducts(2).

• Rapeseed lecithin is characterized by a high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids (approx. 88%) and low content of saturated fatty acids (approx. 12%)(11).

• Oral intake of lecithin is recommended in the scheme of management of food retention in the milk ducts (Clinical Protocol of the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine (ABM)(12), Recommendations of the Polish Society of Midwives(13)).

• In vitro studies show that bromelain has growth-restricting properties of certain bacteria(7).

• Increased growth of certain bacteria may be associated with difficult milk flow from the breast gland(12).

• The results of a pilot study indicate that the combined consumption of lecithin and bromelain contained in the product, together with lactic acid bacteria – L. salivarius SGL03, reduces breast tenderness in lactating women(1).

Ingredients: Deoiled rapeseed lecithin, powder, glazing agent: hydroxypropylcellulose; pineapple bromelain (Ananas comosus), anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, silicon dioxide; zinc gluconate.

WAY OF USE

Consume 2 capsules 3 times a day with a meal or according to the schedule recommended by your doctor/lactation specialist. The product should be used for 5 consecutive days. Do not exceed the recommended portion for consumption during the day. A dietary supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet.

Can be used together with Milanella biom dietary supplement, containing lactic acid bacteria Lactobacillus salivarius SGL03.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation. The product is intended for adult women.
