What is L-Glutamine?

Glutamine is an amino acid, a building block of proteins and an important fuel for immune cells supporting optimal functioning of the immune system.

Glutamine can be found in the blood, as well as in skeletal muscle and liver. It occurs in concentrations 10 to 100 times higher than any other amino acid. [1]
