Each capsule contains 250 mg of lactoferrin (apolactoferrin), which is an important glycoprotein that supports the immune system. It occurs naturally in breast milk, tears and other body fluids. One of the biological activities of lactoferrin is its strong iron-binding capacity (300 times that of serum transferrin). Thanks to this, it not only improves the absorption of iron by the body, but also promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive system. In addition, digestion of lactoferrin by gastric pepsin releases the lactoferrin peptide B.
The supplement is in the form of freeze-dried capsules. The high activity of the ingredients was preserved by processing at low temperature.
