The ingredients contained in Osteoforte™ participate in various metabolic pathways, which can help:

Bones are metabolically active structures that are constantly being rebuilt throughout life. One of the factors determining the proper development and maintenance of healthy bones is the optimal production of collagen, the main protein of the extracellular matrix. In bone, collagen fibers form a mesh which, with the participation of bone cells, is mineralized with hydroxyapatite crystals. This creates a kind of scaffolding that gives the bone both hardness and flexibility, which together determines its resistance to mechanical stress, including cracks and fractures.

To ensure optimal collagen production and proper mineralization of bone tissue, bone cells need specific vitamins, minerals and other natural substances. They not only play a bone-building role, but are also necessary for the proper control and regulation of bone formation processes. For example, vitamins D and C directly affect bone-forming cells (osteoblasts), stimulating their multiplication and production of collagen and other bone matrix proteins. Vitamin D also participates in the intestinal absorption of calcium, zinc and manganese, elements necessary to maintain proper bone metabolism. Moreover, vitamins D and C have an indirect effect on inhibiting the activity of osteoclasts, whose role is to resorption (degradation) of bone tissue. Vitamin K2 plays a key role in the proper mineralization of bones and teeth. Other vitamins such as A and E and elements such as boron, zinc, manganese, copper and silicon are also involved in bone tissue metabolism.
