Megabol Dibencozide Magnum - 5-deoxy-5-adenosiloboralamine - an agent with a strong anabolic effect. The preparation is used in the phase of building mass and developing muscle strength. The attachment of the 5-deoxyadenosyl fragment to the cobalt atom of cobalamin is preceded by a reduction, as a result of which the cobalt becomes monovalent (Co1+). The donor of deoxyadenosine is ATP. This reaction occurs in the presence of diol or dithiol and reduced flavin or reduced ferrodoxin.
