Colostrum, or colostrum or young, is obtained from cows' milk. Colostrum is a substance secreted by the mammary glands of mammals in the last period of pregnancy up to several dozen hours after childbirth. It has a characteristic yellow color. Its composition is different from milk obtained later. These differences are particularly true for nutritional values and immunoglobulins (also called antibodies).

Colostrum Aliness is a mixture of many components with different physical, chemical and biological properties, it is a source of 19 essential amino acids, contains immunoglobulins especially class IgG, IgM, IgA, IgE, IgD and PRP (proline), lactoferrin (transferrin protein) and vitamins and minerals.

The composition of colostrum changes with the passage of time since birth. The amount of proteins decreases in favor of sugars and lipids, which are energy material.

However, it is sufficient to provide a source of energy for organs and tissues and to regulate the composition and activity of the intestinal microflora (as a result of the breakdown of lactose into lactic acid).

However, the amount of milk sugar in colostrum collected within a few hours after childbirth is so small that it should not cause digestive ailments in people suffering from lactose intolerance.

Colostrum should also not be used in children under 3 years of age due to potentially occurring milk protein allergies.
