Aliness Chromium GTF is an organic source of chromium bound naturally in the structures of Sacharomyces cervisiae yeast. Thanks to its natural form, chrome GTF is easily recognized by the body and is characterized by high bioavailability. Studies have shown that chromium derived from yeast is characterized by bioavailability comparable to organic chromium salts, such as chromium picolinate (recognized as one of the best assimilable sources of chromium) and approx. 10 times higher than inorganic forms such as chromium chloride

What is GTF?

Glucose tolerance factor (GTF) is a chemical compound that is found naturally in the tissues and cells of our body. Its main function is to maintain normal glucose metabolism. It combines with insulin to transport glucose from the blood to the cells of the body.

Chromium is an important element of the GTF molecule – it is a compound consisting of trivalent chromium and minerals, vitamins and amino acids. Healthy people supplement chromium through diet, which is then converted into GTF, to support glucose metabolism. However, diseases and adverse factors such as stress, obesity, alcoholism and aging of the body can cause the loss of GTF in the body by excessive excretion in the urine, resulting in a deficiency of this important component.

When the concentration of GTF in our body decreases, glucose cannot be effectively transported to cells. Due to the high concentration of glucose in the blood, the kidneys are unable to reabsorb this component back into the bloodstream. This causes the presence of excess glucose in the urine. The reason for this condition may be too little supply of chromium or disturbances in its absorption.

For better absorption and more effective use, chromium contained in Aliness Chromium GTF occurs in the form of a chromium complex with amino acids and vitamins naturally occurring in yeast.

How is Chromium GTF Aliness formed?

During carefully controlled fermentation, the yeast is fed with certain amounts of minerals. Under natural conditions, yeast grows and interacts with chromium, building it into cellular structures. After a certain time, the yeast is collected, washed with purified water, pasteurized and dried. In this way, we obtain a unique product that provides not only highly bioavailable chromium, but also a full spectrum of other valuable nutrients – proteins and amino acids, fiber, vitamins and minerals or glutathione.
