What is immaculate?

Immaculate (Vitex agnus-castus), is a plant belonging to the verbena family, occurring naturally in Europe, northern Africa and Central Asia. Its small, spherical fruits abound in beneficial phytonutrients. For this reason, immaculate is considered a medicinal plant and its fruits have been a valued herbal raw material for many years.

Immaculate fruit extract is a source of many biologically active ingredients that have a positive effect – especially on the female body. Among them are large amounts of beneficial iridoid glycosides, diterpenes, flavonoids, alkaloids, as well as essential oils. The main active ingredients for which immaculate extracts are standardized are aucubin and agnuzide, belonging to iridoid glycosides.

How does immaculate work?

The active ingredients contained in the common immaculate support the proper course of the menstrual cycle and relieve symptoms of premenstrual tension. They also contribute to maintaining female hormonal balance during menopause, which helps alleviate its negative symptoms and improves physical and mental well-being. What standardization and origin of the extract?
