Magnesium Citrate by NOW® is an easier to digest and better absorbed form of magnesium than others.

Magnesium is a mineral that is crucial for energy production and metabolism, muscle contraction, nerve impulse transmission and bone mineralization. It is an essential cofactor for about 300 enzymes. Among the reactions catalyzed by these enzymes are fatty acid synthesis, protein synthesis and glucose metabolism. Magnesium status is also important for regulating calcium balance through its effects on the parathyroid gland.

Ingredients: magnesium salts of citric acid (magnesium citrate).

Not made with wheat, gluten, soy, milk, eggs, fish, crustaceans or nuts. Produced in a GMP facility processing other ingredients containing these allergens.

Usage: Mix 1/2 to 1 flat teaspoon (from tea) of powder with a glass of water (minimum 230 ml). Add the powder gradually, stirring constantly. Drink the finished drink with a meal, 1 time a day. Pure magnesium citrate can raise the temperature of drinks during its dissolution, so a minimum of 230 ml of water must be used to prepare the drink before it is consumed.

Do not exceed the recommended portion for consumption during the day. The preparation is not intended for children. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should consult a doctor. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient. The product cannot be used as a substitute (replacement) for a varied diet. Store in a dry and cool place out of reach of small children.

NOTE: The preparation must not be taken orally in the form of a dry powder and must be dissolved in a minimum of 230 ml of water (in 1 cup). Do not inhale the powder and avoid contact with skin and eyes.
