Does the phone charge on an induction charger regardless of its arrangement?

No — the phone does not charge properly in any arrangement.

For wireless charging to work effectively, the coil on the phone must be as close and central as possible to the coil in the charger. The better the fit, the faster and more stable the charging.

If the phone is placed too far from the center of the charger:

• charging may be slower,

• may interrupt,

• or not start at all.

Magnet systems (e.g. MagSafe) help in the correct positioning of the device, but in classic chargers you just need to properly center the phone.

What temperature of induction charger during operation is normal?

During operation, the induction charger can heat up – this is completely normal.

Wireless charging generates energy losses, and the coils in the charger and phone work close together, which naturally raises the temperature of the device.

A typical feeling of heat or even a hot case does not mean a fault.

However, the charger should be disconnected if:

• gets abnormally hot (e.g. burns in the fingers),

• charging suddenly interrupts,

• there is a smell of overheating or melted plastic,

• housing is damaged.

Is it safe to charge the device with a higher power charger?

Yes – using a higher power charger is safe.

The device itself communicates with the charger how much power it can safely draw, so even if the charger has more power than the phone, the phone will only draw the amount that is right for it.

Charging parameters change dynamically – the closer the battery approaches 100%, the less current is drawn, which protects the battery.

Can the induction charger be permanently left connected to the power supply?

Yes — the induction charger can be left permanently connected to the power supply.

This is the normal way to use it, because such a charger acts as a stationary stand – it is ready to work immediately after putting the phone away.

However, it is worth remembering that:

• charger in standby mode consumes a minimum amount of energy,

• its electronics are constantly working, so disconnecting the power supply when not in use can extend its life,

• in the case of surges in the network (rare situations), any electronics connected to the power supply may be exposed to damage.

In conclusion: you can leave it plugged in, but if it is not used for a long time, it is worth disconnecting it – from energy savings and to protect the equipment.

Can the induction charger be used with an extension cord or power strip (via AC adapter)?

Yes — the induction charger can be used together with an extension cord or power strip because it uses an AC adapter itself.

It is only important that:

• the extension cord or strip was functional and had current safety standards,

• AC adapter was of adequate quality and provided the required power for the induction charger.

In addition, to protect the equipment, it is worth using a strip with surge protection, which protects the devices during voltage spikes.

Can the induction charger heat up during operation? When is it dangerous?

Yes — heating of the induction charger during operation is completely normal.

When wireless charging, some of the energy turns into heat, so both the charger and the phone can be clearly warm, especially when:

• the phone is heavily discharged,

• charging takes a long time,

• the phone has a thick case,

• the ambient temperature is high.

When can this be dangerous?

Stop charging and disconnect the charger if:

• the case becomes unnaturally hot (burns in the fingers),

• there is a smell of overheating or melted plastic,

• the charger interrupts operation or works unstable,

• housing is damaged.

Does the induction charger work through the phone case?

Yes — the induction charger works through most standard phone cases.

However, it should be remembered that:

• the thicker the case, the greater the distance between the coils, which reduces the charging efficiency,

• with very thick cases, charging may not start.

For best results, it is recommended to use a standard thickness case (e.g. silicone or thin plastic).

Does every phone support wireless charging?

No — not all phones support wireless charging.

This feature is only available on select smartphone models. If your phone doesn’t have one, induction charging won’t be possible — even with the best charger.

In practice:

• most iPhones from the 8 series and up support wireless charging,

• many newer models of Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei, Google Pixel and other brands have this feature,

To be sure, just check your phone's specifications to see if it supports wireless charging.

Can an induction charger damage a payment card or RFID key?

No — the induction charger should not damage your payment card or RFID key.

Chargers have the function of detecting foreign objects and if there is something between the charger and the phone that should not be there (e.g. card, coin, key), the device will stop charging.

In practice:

• the charger field is very short range and works only if the phone coils are correctly positioned,

• payment cards and RFID cards are resistant to such fields and are not damaged in normal use.

For safety, it is worth simply not putting cards or keys on the charger together with the phone – charging will not start then, but it is better to avoid overheating foreign objects.

Can you leave your phone on the induction charger overnight?

Technically, the phone can stay on the induction charger all night, but this is not recommended.

Long-term lying on the charger causes an increased battery temperature, which over time can shorten its life. In addition, unattended charging – regardless of the type of charger – is not a good habit from a safety point of view.

It is best to charge your phone when you can keep it under control, and when you reach full charge level, simply remove it from the charger.

Does the induction charger draw electricity when it is not charging the device?

Yes — the standby induction charger draws a small amount of power even when it is not charging your phone.
