Purpose
Acer PL6620 laser projector designed for conference rooms, lecture halls and permanent ceiling installations. Provides a bright image visible in well-lit rooms.
Image quality
The device uses DLP technology and displays the image in WUXGA resolution (1920 × 1200). The nominal brightness is 6000 ANSI lumens, and the static contrast reaches about 50 000:1. Supported aspect ratio is 16:10, as well as 16:9 and 4:3 modes. The throw factor ranges from 1,20:1 to 2,04:1, allowing you to flexibly set the projection and get different diagonals of the screen.
Light source
The projector is equipped with a laser light source with a long lifespan. The estimated service life is about 20 000 hours in standard mode and up to about 30 000 hours in economy mode.
Connectivity and sound
The device offers a set of connectors including two HDMI inputs, VGA (15-pin D-Sub), USB Type-A port, RJ-45 network interface and 3,5 mm audio input. The projector supports HDBaseT, HDMI 1.4b/2.0 compatibility and HDCP security. Built-in two speakers with a total power of about 15 W RMS allow you to play sound without the need for additional sound system in smaller rooms.
Construction and use
The white housing with dimensions of 374 × 265 × 108 mm and a weight of about 4,5 kg allows ceiling mounting or setting on the table. The projector has manual focus and zoom and an offset of about 140%. The projection modes available are front, rear and ceiling. Typical operating power consumption is about 245 W; in economical mode, the consumption is lower, and in standby mode, the device shows low power consumption.
