The camera captures images at a resolution of 2880 × 1620 at 30 frames per second. The 2,8mm lens covers 96,1° horizontally, so one device covers the gate, driveway and a piece of garden.

Working distances look like this: the camera detects up to 63 m, recognizes up to 13 m, and identifies up to 6 m. The closer a person stands to the lens, the more details remain in the frame.

❓ What is PoE and what does it give me?

PoE means power through a power cord. You lead one cable to the camera, which flows electricity and image. You do not need to plan a 230 V outlet at the installation site.

❓ Do I need a DVR for the camera?

No. The camera records up to 256 GB microSD card. The recorder comes in handy when you are building a system from several cameras and want to have an archive in one place.

❓ Does the camera see color at night?

No. This model has only infrared, so after dark it records a black and white image. The color night image has models with white light, for example BCS-P-TIP24FCL3-Ai1.

❓ Does the camera record sound?

Yeah, it has a built-in microphone. There is no speaker, so you will not talk to the person in front of the lens through it.

❓ What is the difference between an IP camera and an analog camera?

The IP camera transmits the image via a network cable and can be powered by it. The analog camera requires a separate video and power cable, and the image goes to the recorder in lower quality.

❓ Will the camera work with a different brand DVR?

Yes. The camera supports ONVIF, a common language that cameras and recorders of different brands can use to get along with each other. With a foreign recorder, it is worth checking whether it will also handle perimeter protection, face detection and counting people.

❓ Which memory card should I choose?

The camera supports microSD cards up to 256 GB. For full resolution recording, we recommend a card in the speed class of at least V30.
