No, the Reolink Lumus Pro does not have a built-in battery and requires constant power from an outlet. The set includes a standard 5V AC adapter, which you need to connect to electricity. Thanks to this, the device can record continuously without the risk of discharge at a crucial moment.

I want to install monitoring in the motorhome. Will I connect this camera directly to a 12V installation?

You will not connect it directly because the device is powered by 5V. To safely use the camera in a vehicle with a 12V installation, you need to use a suitable car charger or converter. After such a connection, the equipment will work without any problem, as long as you provide it with access to a mobile Wi-Fi router.

What happens to the recordings if a thief cuts off my internet at home?

If there is a microSD card in the camera, the device will still record the image and save it locally, despite the lack of network. You will only lose the ability to view live and will not receive notifications on your phone until the call is restored. A card with a capacity of up to 512 GB will preserve evidence of the event from the time of failure.
