✅ How to set up an antenna to receive MUX-8

The TAMDEL TAZ-26 antenna has two independent reception paths:

• larger dipole and extended section of VHF directors – used to receive MUX-8

• smaller UHF dipole – used to receive MUX-1 / MUX-2 / MUX-3 / MUX-4

If in a given location MUX-8 is broadcast in vertical polarization:

▶ Turn the larger VHF dipole and its director by 90° – position them vertically.

▶ Do not rotate the entire antenna – just change the position of the VHF elements.

▶ MUX-1 / MUX-2 / MUX-3 / MUX-4 channels will continue to be received in horizontal polarization.

▶ The extensive section of VHF directors supports more stable reception of MUX-8, especially in places away from the transmitter or with more difficult reception conditions.
