Haematococcus pluvialis is a microalgae that, in the face of extreme conditions — drought, UV radiation, lack of nutrients — produces astaxanthin in quantities not found anywhere else in nature. It's her survival mechanism. Astaxanthin from Biogenesis provides this compound in its pure, natural form — in MCT oil, which ensures optimal absorption.
