WAPNOVIT TURBO is a modern calcium fertilizer (260 g of CaO in 1 liter) enriched with magnesium and microelements.

The WAPNOVIT TURBO fertilizer uses INT technology, which makes the preparation exceptionally effective - calcium is very quickly taken up by the plant and moved to all organs, ensuring their proper growth and development.

Ingredients that enrich the fertilizer: magnesium (Mg), boron (B), copper (Cu), molybdenum (Mo) and zinc (Zn) - additionally have a positive effect on the quantity and quality of the crop.

WAPNOVIT TURBO is recommended for foliar feeding, as well as for use with irrigation (fertigation) of crops with an increased demand for calcium.

Foliar feeding with calcium is necessary, especially in horticultural crops, due to the limited movement and transport of Ca2+ ions in plants.

This method of providing calcium to plants prevents the occurrence of physiological diseases such as: dry top rot on tomatoes, bitter spot on apples, "tipburn" in cruciferous vegetables.

WAPNOVIT TURBO is recommended to be used prophylactically (preventively), before visual symptoms of calcium deficiency appear on plants. Allowing deficiency symptoms to occur always leads to a reduction in the quantity and quality of the crop. Treatments performed during periods of intensive growth and the formation and growth of fruit, tubers or storage roots are particularly important.

Plants with a particularly high demand for calcium include: apple tree, pear tree, stone fruit trees, strawberry, tomato, pepper, cabbage plants, root crops and berry plants.

WAPNOVIT TURBO, used at the dates and doses recommended in the fertilization programs of individual species, effectively supplements and/or corrects soil fertilization and provides calcium available to plants during periods of the plants' greatest demand for this ingredient.

Emergency feeding is recommended when visual symptoms of calcium deficiency appear on plants or when the results of the analysis of plant material indicate too low calcium content (hidden deficiencies). Interventional applications should only take place in cases where preventive treatments could not be performed at the appropriate time. Even a short-term occurrence of calcium deficiency may significantly reduce the quantity and quality of the crop.

Calcium supplied in WAPNOVIT® TURBO fertilizer has a positive effect on the size and quality of the crop through:

- reducing the occurrence of physiological diseases of fruit and vegetables

- strengthening and stabilizing the structure of cell walls (improves plants' tolerance to unfavorable environmental conditions and mechanical damage during transport)

- proper development and growth of individual plant organs, including generative ones (flowers, buds)

- increasing plant resistance to fungal diseases

- improving the efficiency of pollination and fruit setting

- increasing the firmness of fruits and vegetables

- stimulation of even ripening of fruits and vegetables

- improving the storage properties of the crop and extending the storage period
