An effective way to moles in the garden

Mole netting is the most effective, most popular and safest solution to the problem of emerging moles.

The activity of moles unaware of their destructive activity for our lawn on the plot or in the garden can be prevented once and for all by installing a mole net.

The mole net used underground protects the lawn by closing the road "up" to underground pests, thus protecting against the appearance of moles.

Mole nets are popularly used in gardens, plots, sports and public facilities.

Safe for roots and moles

The 16x16 mole net does not disturb the root system and does not hinder the development of vegetation roots in the garden or on the plot and even strengthens the soil structure.

The use of a mole net is also safe for the mole itself, because its function is limited only to blocking access to the surface in places where we do not want to see new moles.

Optimal weight and mesh size

Thanks to its increased weight of 40g/m2, the Linarem SiatkiSieci is additionally reinforced at the mesh joints, which in combination with a properly selected mesh size of 16x16mm ensures optimal tear resistance. It is the mesh joints in polypropylene meshes that are most susceptible to tearing with sufficiently strong pressure.

The 16x16mm mesh provides greater strength than competing meshes with a similar weight but smaller eye. In the case of nets of the same or similar weight, the larger the mesh structure, meshes and their joints are thicker and stronger.

The Linarem SiatkiSieci mole net is produced in Poland from high-quality polypropylene material, which does not lose its properties in conditions that prevail underground, providing protection for several or even several years.

Information on the installation of a mole net

We should proceed to the installation of a mole net in the spring, summer or early autumn to avoid a situation in which the soil will be frozen and hard.

The optimal scenario is the installation of a mole net in new gardens before sowing grass, but we know from experience that in most cases a mole attack can appear already on existing lawns. Nothing is lost! The mole net can also be mounted in this case.

Installation on an existing lawn

If you need to install a mole net on an existing lawn, remove the top layer of soil about 10cm to the depth with a spade and set aside carefully.

• indicated 10 centimeters is optimal, but nothing bad will happen in the case of a photo a few centimeters more. However, we do not recommend going below the limit of 10 cm

In this way, we reveal further strips of land on which we spread the net into moles. After putting the net on a given piece in accordance with the assembly instructions below using mounting pins, the net should be lightly covered with earth and then put back on it a previously removed part of the lawn.

Work seems to be arduous, especially with larger entrustments, but it is an investment and security for years.

Installation of the net

1. The net should be mounted at a depth of about 10 cm.

• in the case of securing existing lawns, it will be necessary to properly prepare it in accordance with the above-described instructions before laying the net.

2. On the prepared soil, spread the net, evenly securing the entire surface.

• sections, rolls of nets should be combined into the so-called. tab (the edges of the nets should overlap, about 10-15 cm);

• in order to protect against shifting of nets and the formation of leaks, the joints should be secured every 2-3 m with pins;

• Optionally, pins can also be used every few meters around the perimeter of the net.

3. Spread and anchored to the ground, the net is covered with about 10 cm of earth.

4. After installing the netting, the entire lawn should be rolled and cared for until it is rooted again.

Pins for fixing the net

Pins are made of plastic, which - like the mesh - does not decompose in the soil.

The length of the pins is 15 cm.

The pin head has a diameter of 21 mm.

Pins are well suited for mounting mesh in concise or medium-concise soils.
