Application:
The mole paw is a great solution for securing green areas, i.e. lawns, gardens, golf courses, vegetable and fruit beds, etc. The effectiveness of the trap lies in the very sensitive ratchet mechanism, which when motion is detected immediately snaps, catching the rodent.
It can be used on both moles, voles, soil rodents, and other pests – including mice and rats.
How to Use:
✅First, locate the underground tunnel – the place where moles or voles are active. This should be done at a depth of about 15-25cm, ensuring the tunnel remains completely unobstructed.
✅Next, set the trap and engage the lock with the locking plate.
✅Then, place the trap in the tunnel.
✅Finally, cover it with a bucket, placed upside down.
✅Thanks to the ratchet mechanism, the moment the plate is touched, the mole is immobilized.
Is a metal mole trap legal?
Pursuant to the Regulation of the Minister of the Environment of dn. 7 October 2014 (OJ. pos. 1348) mole (Talpa europea) is a partially protected animal, with the exception of individuals occurring in gardens, horticultural crops, forest nurseries, grassy airports, earth hydrotechnical structures and sports facilities.
To the set of 3 mole traps we add nitrile gloves (1 pair), which are not a random addition, but a very important element of effective action. Thanks to them, the smell of the hand does not transfer to the traps, which is important for cautious and sensitive moles. Less foreign smell means less alertness of the animal and a greater chance of effective operation of the trap. This is a practical accessory that increases the comfort of installation and helps to prepare traps in a more professional way.
