How to properly install a trap

1. Locate the active mole corridor and prepare the assembly site

• The best place to install the trap is the active mole tunnel.
• Using a spatula or hand, expose a fragment of the tunnel with a trap width.
• The trap should be placed exactly in the axis of the tunnel so that the mole touches the mechanism as it passes.

2. Pull the trap mechanism

• Grab the top spring handles.
• Lift the mechanism up by tightening the spring.
• Lock the mechanism on the drain plate located at the bottom of the trap.
• After setting the mechanism, the trap is armed and ready for action.

3. Place the trap in the tunnel

• Slide the lower arms of the trap into the center of the hallway.
• The trigger mechanism should be in the way of the mole passage.
• The trap must be set stably and vertically.

4. Cover the installation site

• gently cover the installation site with earth,
• You can cover them with turf or board.

Check the trap every 12 to 24 hours, if the mechanism has been activated – the trap should be set again, in the absence of effects it is worth moving the trap to another tunnel
