The trap is installed directly in an active mole tunnel. The scissor mechanism is triggered when the animal reuses the tunnel. It does not require the use of chemicals or digging up large areas of soil.
Method of use
1. Locate the active tunnel and dig a hole - at the site of the mound or passage of the corridor dig a hole to the depth of the tunnel. Clean the interior so that the trap can be properly set.
2. Stretch the trap arms and prepare the mechanism - open the scissor arms and hook the lock (plate with chain) to keep them open.
3. Place the drain lock in the middle - mount the drain plate so that it is ready for activation when touched by the rodent.
4. Embed the trap in the tunnel and cover the mounting place - insert the device into the hole, leave the chain protruding. Cover the trap with a dark container or lightly cover with earth so as not to let light through.
Monitor – the sign of the rodent catching the moletrap is the open handle of the paw.
