The AlphaMed blood pressure monitor cuff is an accessory designed for non-invasive measurement of blood pressure using shoulder blood pressure monitors. The adjustable range of 22 to 40 cm allows it to fit different arm circumferences in adults.

Model XUXY-B001 is a single-wire cuff for automatic, shoulder blood pressure monitors. The product is sold with a tip.

Made from durable and soft material, the cuff ensures comfortable use. Markings placed on the surface help in the correct assumption, which is important for the correctness of the measurement.

IMPORTANT:

The included cuff tip may not originally fit your blood pressure monitor. In this case, use the tip from the existing, original cuff. Just pull it out of the rubber cuff cord. Sometimes the tips stick firmly to the cord and you need to use more force. Make sure that the new connection is tight before use.

Indications for use

The device is intended for use with a compatible shoulder blood pressure monitor to perform non-invasive blood pressure measurement in adults, according to the instructions for use of the device.

Instructions for use

1. Connect the cuff to the device according to the instruction manual of the blood pressure monitor.
2. Wrap the cuff around your shoulder at heart level. The lower edge of the cuff should be about 2 to 3 cm above the bend of the elbow.
3. Put the cuff directly on the skin or a thin layer of clothing, making sure it adheres evenly but is not too tight.
4. The arm should be relaxed and supported during measurement.
5. Start the measurement according to the instruction manual of the blood pressure monitor.
6. Once the measurement is complete, remove the cuff and disconnect it from the device if required.

Cleaning and maintenance

• Clean with a damp, soft cloth.
• Do not machine wash or immerse in water.
• Do not use strong detergents or disinfectants unless the manufacturer recommends otherwise.
• Store in a dry place, away from heat and moisture sources.

Contraindications and precautions

• do not use in case of cuff damage
• do not use in case of incompatibility with your device, i.e. Children's blood pressure monitors.
• do not put on the shoulder with wound, swelling or other skin lesions at the site of measurement
• use only in accordance with the instructions of the blood pressure monitor manufacturer
