The SF124 is a 26-port PoE switch designed to power IP cameras operating in the IEEE 802.3af/at standard. Switch on ports 1 to 24 has the function of automatic detection of devices powered in the PoE / PoE + standard. Ports marked G1/TP and G2/TP are used to connect further network devices via RJ45 connector. The switch also has two SFP sockets (marked G1/SFP and G2/SFP), which after using a fiber optic module (GBIC insert) allow transmission over optical fiber. On the front panel there is an indication of the operating status of the device realized on LEDs.

PoE technology provides a network connection and reduces installation costs, eliminating the need to supply a separate power cable to each device. In addition to cameras, network devices that use this technology can be powered in this way, e.g.
