PLANET XGS-6320-12X4TR is a fully managed, all-port 10Gbps Ethernet switch designed to meet the high bandwidth demand for advanced network devices such as wireless AP Wi-Fi 6/6E, NAS, workstations and those with 10Gbps fiber or copper interfaces. Support for Layer 3 routing

The XGS-6320 series enables an administrator to conveniently increase network performance by manually configuring IPv4/IPv6 VLAN Layer 3 static routing, automatic RIP (Routing Information Protocol) or OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) settings.

RIP can use the number of hops as a routing metric and prevent routing loops by limiting the number of hops allowed in the path from source to destination.

OSPF is an internal dynamic routing protocol for a standalone system based on the state of the link. The protocol creates a link state database by exchanging link states between Layer 3 switches, and then uses the Shortest Path First algorithm to generate a route table based on that database.

The XGS-6320 series can be programmed for advanced switch management features such as dynamic port aggregation, Q-in-Q VLAN, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), Layer2/4 QoS, bandwidth control and IGMP/MLD snooping. It allows you to operate a fast trunk connecting multiple ports. Supporting 8 trunk groups, it allows up to 16 ports per trunk and also supports fail-over connections.

The XGS-6320 series offers a comprehensive list of access controls (ACLs) from Layer 2 to Layer 4 to enforce security at the network edge. It can be used to restrict network access by rejecting packets based on source and destination IP addresses, TCP/UDP port numbers, or defined common network applications. Its protection mechanism also includes 802.1x Port-based and MAC-based user and device authentication. With private VLAN functionality, you can prevent communication between edge ports to ensure user privacy.

The XGS-6320 series also provides DHCP Snooping, IP Source Guard and Dynamic ARP Inspection features that prevent IP snooping attacks and reject ARP packets with an invalid MAC address.
