MD-SHOULDER is a sterile medical device designed to improve the range of motion within the shoulder joint. Used mainly in the treatment of pain, overload and inflammation of the shoulder and shoulder area. The preparation can be applied alone or in combination with other MD series products, which allows individual adjustment of treatment to the clinical condition of the patient.

Indications for use:

• Shoulder joint and hand joint degeneration (with MD-POLY)
• Rotator cone assembly (with MD-MUSCLE)
• Painful shoulder syndrome (with MD-MUSCLE and MD-NEURAL)
• Locked shoulder (with MD-MUSCLE)
• Shoulder pain after joint displacement (with MD-NEURAL, recommended rest)
• Inflammation of the epicondylitis (with MD-NEURAL and MD-POLY)

Additionally recommended for:

• chronic pain
• the need to slow down the aging process of connective tissue (with MD-MATRIX and MD-TISSUE)

Action of the preparation:

• Increases shoulder joint mobility
• Reduces pain
• Supports muscle stretching and recovery
• Stabilizes the functions of connective tissues
• Works as a mechanical support for musculoskeletal system therapy

Recommended treatment regimen:

• 1 to 2 injections per week for up to 10 weeks (or as clinically evaluated)

Method of administration:

Peritumoral injection:

• Depth of injection: 2 to 4 mm
• Needle: 27 G
• Syringe: 5 to 10 ml

Delivery injection:

• Needle: 22 G
• Syringe: 2 ml
• Recommended local anesthesia

In both cases, it is necessary to maintain sterile conditions and thoroughly sanitize the skin.

Precautions:

• Do not use in case of ampoule damage or lack of tightness
• Use the contents of the ampoule immediately after opening
• In case of doubts about allergic reactions – perform an allergy test
• The preparation does not show confirmed cases of hypersensitivity

Undesirable effects:

• Transient burning, redness or pain at the injection site (recovering spontaneously)
• Possibility of abscess in case of improper asepsis
