Cold gluing method:
1) Mark the spot under the patch. Cut a patch of fabric or PVC film in a size that is 4-5 cm larger than the site of damage.
2) Clean and degrease the patch and the place under the patch.
3) Apply a thin layer of glue to both surfaces to be glued.
4) Dehumidify 5-10 min. Apply a second layer of glue and dry for 3-5 minutes. It is important to correctly determine the moment when the adhesive viscosity begins to disappear (check by touching the finger), put the patch in place and press firmly. We recommend leaving the gluing place under pressure for 3-4h. Glued equipment can be used after 3-4h.
Hot bonding method (WE RECOMMEND )
When hot glueing, we increase temperature resistance and it will no longer be tearable :) Even a hair dryer is enough to heat it
- Mark the spot under the patch. Cut the patch from fabric or PVC film in a size that is 4-5 cm larger than the place of damage
- Clean and degrease the patch and the place under the patch (ACETONEM)
- Apply a thin layer of glue to both surfaces to be glued
- Dehumidify 5-10 minutes. Apply a second layer of glue and dry 5-10 minutes
- Preheat the glued surfaces to 60 °С, place the patch in place and press firmly. Glued equipment can be used after 20 minutes.
Recommendations and recommendations:
Cuts and damage greater than 4 cm glue on both sides. Operating temperature of glued equipment from – 40 °С to +80 °С. Repair at temperatures greater than 10 °С. Store and transport at temperatures from – 10 °С to + 30 °С. Fresh glue is removed with spirit or acetone. The maximum effect is achieved after 24 hours. FLAMMABLE ATTENTION! Keep out of reach of children. Work should be carried out in a ventilated room and avoid access to fire.
