The grill is already ‘’burned’’, that is, ready to use.
Immediately before the first use, wash the dish with water, then dry with a cloth and rub with edible fat.
Since cast iron heats up very quickly and retains heat for a long time, do not place hot dishes directly on the countertop or table.
It is recommended to use wooden spoons and oven gloves when in contact with the dish.
Do not pour cold water into a hot grill, as this may cause cast iron to crack and rust.
After each use, wash the grill with water and rub with a paper towel soaked in edible oil (for this purpose, we recommend a dedicated, specialized oil for seasoning cast iron).
The cast iron grill should be washed and dried immediately after each use, and then protected with oil .
Cast iron cookware does not like moisture, so the sooner we wash and dry it, the better. For this reason, under no circumstances should a cast iron grill be put in the dishwasher or left with water “to soak”. Keep the grill in a dry and airy place.
