• The pot is already "seasoned," meaning it's ready to use.
• Immediately before the first use, wash the pot with water, then dry it with a cloth and rub it with edible fat.
• Since cast iron heats up very quickly and retains heat for a long time, do not place hot pots directly on countertops or tables.
• It is recommended to use wooden spoons and oven mitts when handling the pot.
• Do not use detergents to wash the pot, as they can penetrate the cast iron and get into food.
• Do not pour cold water into a hot pot, as this can cause the cast iron to crack and rust.
• After each use, wash the pot with water and rub it with a paper towel soaked in edible oil (we recommend a specialized oil for seasoning cast iron for this purpose).
