Thank you for your interest in our linen products. My name is Joanna, and I am the owner of SZYJEMYKOLOREM Workshop. I want you to feel special – just as I have felt for over 10 years.

I want you to experience nature, its scent, its touch. Linen gives us all of this. Linen gives us health. Linen is a noble plant, known and cultivated for thousands of years. And it was linen that changed my life. I will never forget the smell of the yarn and the touch of the raw linen fabric - when we met for the first time. That moment led me to open my handicraft workshop just two years later... even though I had never sat at a sewing machine before and have an economics degree! I decided that I wanted to do what I am passionate about, interested in, and inspired by. I no longer wanted to create charts, summaries, or presentations. I wanted to make something tangible, useful, and charming in its own way. Something that would appeal to others and give me satisfaction from my work.

And I succeeded! Today I am an artisan and cultivate handwork (HANDMADE). It sounds proud to me, even though I am self-taught. Without vocational training, after years of hard work, I took and passed the journeyman's exam. It was one of the most beautiful days of my life.

Every day, I am happy that my workshop also creates products from leftover materials that would probably end up in the trash. This is important because ecology and the Zero Waste philosophy are very important to me. Since you are here, we most likely agree on this issue. The ubiquitous plastic and foil are a problem for everyone, which is why, m.in. with my products (linen bags and sacks), I try to change the approach of others to this important issue.

Every day in our Workshop, we only use fabrics from Polish producers. It is possible to import cheaper fabrics from abroad, but economic patriotism is also a value for us.

Each of our products is sewn in our Workshop in Kamienna Góra. A city that has been famous for growing and producing linen for over 6 centuries. The fact that we can do this and cultivate this declining tradition is a great honor for us. That is why we make the greatest effort, putting our heart into our work every day, so that every product, from the smallest bag to the largest tablecloth, is unique.
