1 What's on the floor?
If you have carpeting on the floor - just buy hard wheels for soft floors. If you have parquet, panels, tiles, etc. on the floor (hard ground) then choose soft wheels for hard floors. Overall, soft wheels for hard floors will ride all over!
2 To what diameter of the base of the swivel chair/chair do you buy wheels?
If you have a small base - up to a diameter of 62 cm. just buy wheels with a diameter of fi 50mm. For larger armchair/chair bases, it is worth buying fi 60mm or fi 65mm wheels.
3 What is the width of the arm of the seat/chair base?
For a wide arm base, you can buy wheels with the so-called. collar or without collar. For a base with a narrow arm, we will buy a circle without a collar or with a small collar (otherwise it will look unsightly).
4 Do you have a level difference - e.g. Grout in tiles or mat on the floor?
In case of difference in levels, it is better to have wheels of larger diameter. It is much easier to drive a larger wheel through the grout or drive on the mat!
5 Will the child use the chair/rotating chair?
If the chair is used by a child weighing up to 45 kg, do not buy the so-called self-braking wheels, because it will not move the chair on the floor (circles will inhibit sliding). Often also - especially in the case of small bases, the smallest circles fi 50 are assumed.
