Kattovit Feline Diet - KIDNEY / RENAL has been specially developed to provide cats with a reduced protein content by using high-quality protein in an easily digestible composition. High levels of protein can have a detrimental effect on the kidneys. The decisive factor here is the protein content in relation to the amount of energy. With Kattovit NIERE / RENAL, unlike conventional food, only about half of the energy is provided by protein. Enrichment with potassium citrate has an alkalizing effect on the urine, thanks to which it can prevent the formation of oxalate crystals (oxalate prophylaxis). The content of phosphorus and sodium is reduced.
