Purizon Sterilised food has been developed for the changed metabolism and increased appetite of neutered cats. Therefore, Purizon Sterilised has a lower fat content (only 14,5% crude fat), which helps maintain an ideal weight. Sterilized cats also have an increased risk of developing urinary stones, which is why Purizon Sterilised food contains DL-methionine. This can lower the pH of urine and prevent the formation of bladder stones.
