The Heki-Safe system gives the angler the ability to detach the weight when towing fish on a helicopter set or Chod, making it ideal for fishing in an overgrown lake.

Heli-Safe system attachment with the intention of unfastening the weight:
Drag the braid or main line through the inner cap. Hold all the pieces together, clamp the spring and slide the cap into the hole, then twist it to immobilize. Press the cap to open the pendant, and hitch the selected weight. When the fish hangs on the hook, the pendant will open and cause the weight to detach.
Heli-Safe system attachment without the intention of unfastening the weight:
Drag the braid or main line through the cap. To prevent the weight from detaching, then drag the lock. Then place the weight on the pendant and collect all the elements together. Slide the cap into the hole and twist it to immobilize. The weight is locked and will not detach when the fish hangs on the hook.
