The represented model has an innovative electronic system (FLEXVOLT ADVANTAGE), which is designed to achieve the greatest possible power thanks to the communication of the grinder with the electronics contained in the battery. The best results in terms of power will be obtained with the FlexVolt 9Ah DCB547 battery it is 1480W and DCB546 6AH 1390W. However, in combination with the Li-Ion XR 18V 5Ah battery, the power is only 1000W, remember that the device is powered by 18V, more power is obtained thanks to the use of appropriate electronics in the machine and batteries. The device is fully compatible with the entire 18V XR Li-Ion and FlexVolt 54V battery series. High power is not everything, safety at a high level is also important. The solution extending the life of the transmission and engine is a smooth start mechanism that protects against jerking, which also translates into greater work safety. The replacement of the discs is tool-free, also the cover is adjustable in a tool-free manner. The Power-OFF system protects against overloads arising during demanding work, controls and monitors the power supply of the engine and module. The grinder uses Perform and Protect technology, combines an electronic E-Brake and an E-Clutch. When the load suddenly increases or the disc is jammed, the clutch eliminates recoil and the brake stops the disc, eliminating the risk of pulling the device out of the hand to restart the device and then turn it back on. The set includes 2 disc covers, one dedicated to cutting, and the other for grinding to comply with the latest regulations.
