Prekė: Jutiklinis ekranas Nextion Discovery NX3224F024, 2.4", rezistyvinis. Kategorija: Priedai.
- Gamintojas: IteadStudio
- Modelis: NX3224F024
⭐ Nextion Discovery Series NX3224F024 is an excellent 2.4" display for fast human\HMI interface designs using readily available tools.
Compared to the Basic Series, the Discovery Series has better MCU performance with a clock speed of 64MHz.
Using NEXTION EDITOR software, you can quickly develop an HMI GUI using drag-and-drop elements (graphics, text, button, slider, etc. ) and ASCII text instructions for encoding component interactions on the wyświetlacza.Wyświetlacz Nextion HMI side connects to the peripheral MCU via TTL Serial (5V, TX, RX, GND).
⭐ Nextion displays are divided into three groups in terms of sophistication, hardware capabilities and computing power.
- Basic - basic version.
- Enhanced - compared to Basic has eprom memory, GPIO lines, RTC clock.
- Intelligent - compared to enhanced contains many new advanced graphical controls.
The Discovery series has the same features as Basic, better MCU performance and lower price.

✅ NEXTION EDITOR
The graphic design of the screen and functional elements can be designed very easily and quickly thanks to the free program on the computer.
Each screen can contain many functional elements of the so-called widgets, which include:
- Text : a text field that can be modified during display operation.
- Number : a number field that can be modified both by a microcontroller and an interactive keyboard on the display.
- Button : button. Both pressing and releasing the button is easy to register via a microcontroller.
- Progressbar : progress bar. The value of this bar can be easily set with the appropriate command.
- Picture : allows you to create a screen background or insert image fragments anywhere on the screen.
- Gauge: is an analog indicator with a single hand.
- Waveform : Used to draw up to four charts.
- Slider : a slider with which you can set various parameters, variables in the program.
- Checkbox: checkbox. Each touch changes its state to the opposite.
- Combobox: drop-down list.
- Video: allows you to insert videos.
Using the mouse, we insert functional elements on the screen that we will need and determine their size on the screen and location.
⭐ The finished project prepared in Nextion Editor software can be transferred to the display in two ways:
- Upload the appropriate project file to the SD card and insert it into the display. When the power supply voltage is applied, the display will automatically load the project into its Flash memory. This is a good way to pass updates to your own software over the internet.
- If the display is connected to a computer (using a USB - TTL converter), simply click the UPLOAD button and the program will automatically load into the display via USB.
✅ How to connect Nextion displays to a microcontroller:
With the microcontroller controlling the display communicates via the UART/TTL serial bus, so it is enough to connect only 4 pins:
- +5V : power supply
- TX : data coming out of the display (e.g. Press button1) to connect to the RX microcontroller.
- RX : input to the display (e.g. displays temperature) connect to the TX microcontroller.
- GND : power mass
Nextion as a Display for Arduino
If the software from the microcontroller side is created on the basis of Arduino IDE, in this case the manufacturer also took care of many facilitations. The Nextion display library created and made available by the manufacturer allows you to easily manage the elements displayed on the screen. An example of the software is available on our blog.
To power the display, we prefer the use of a dedicated FOCA module
✅ The following can be used as a power supply:
- Module MP1584
- Module LM2596
- Module LM7805
Technical support for Nextion displays.
▶ When buying a Nextion display, we immediately have a number of technical support elements:
- Great video course in Polish where we get acquainted with individual elements of the display. In this course you will find a lot of details about the software of the display itself and the software from the Arduino side.
- On the popular electronics forum there is a related topic with a video tutorial where you can ask questions, present your broken code and everything related to the technical problems of Nextion displays.
- Directly in our company by phone or email.
- Libraries for Arduino and Raspberry Pi can be downloaded from the manufacturer’s website.
▶ Set includes:
- Nextion Discovery NX3224F024 x1 Display
- Power Test Board x1
- Cable XH2.54 4Piny x1
✅ Recommended accessories for display: Foca Max USB to TTL converter, designed to work with Nextion displays.
✅ With an external 8-26V DC power input, Foca Max provides a stable power source and the convenience of USB to TTL communication for all series and sizes of Nextion HMI display.
