Dental Care (Tooth Care)

Guinea pigs often have problems with their teeth. This is usually a direct consequence of inadequate feeding, which makes it difficult to wipe teeth, which is necessary in these animals. By adding special unground, long fibers with a high silicate content to the Cavia Complete granules, the food requires increased chewing activity necessary to wipe teeth and ensure their health.

Fresh Vegetables (Fresh vegetables)

The extrusion process allows fresh vegetables to be added to the granules. The food contains at least 10% fresh vegetables, so it tastes great. In addition, the fibers and the appropriate consistency of Cavia Complete feed make it highly digestible for guinea pigs.

Long Fibres (Long Fibers)

Guinea pigs are herbivorous and require a diet with adequate fiber content and low starch content. Cavia Complete contains 20 % crude fibre. The new, unique manufacturing process ensures that Complete feeds contain unground, long silicate-rich fibers, such as those found in natural feed. Long fibers support and improve the functioning of the intestines and teeth much better than ground fibers in traditional rodent foods.

Low Calorie (Low Calorie)

The extruded granules are low in calories, low in starch and high in long fibers, which ensures good digestibility and a balanced diet. Thanks to this, the guinea pig will maintain its ideal weight.

Florastimul (Stimulation of microflora)

The unique addition of prebiotics, fructose-oligosaccharides (FOS) and mannan-oligosaccharides (MOS), has a healthy effect on the intestinal microflora. Thanks to this, the right balance in the digestive system and its proper functioning is maintained.

Vitamin Plus (More vitamins)

Supplementing Complete feed with essential vitamins supports overall health. Vitamin A is important for skin cell renewal, vision, reproduction and metabolism. Vitamin D3 stimulates calcium/phosphorus uptake and thus supports bones. Vitamins E and C are important antioxidants that protect the body against free radicals. Both vitamins also support the body’s natural immunity. Guinea pigs cannot produce vitamin C on their own. Therefore, in their case it is important to include this vitamin in the feed. All other Complete foods have also been enriched with stabilized vitamin C. Unlike the crystalline form, stabilized vitamin C is much less susceptible to oxidation and biodegradation, thanks to which it remains active longer.

Pro Immunity (Immunity Support)

The addition of natural plant pigments, lutein and β-carotene, has a positive effect on overall immunity and health. On the one hand, these carotenoids are known as highly biological antioxidants. On the other hand, they strengthen the body's natural immunity, stimulating the development of antibodies against diseases.

Optimal Coat (Healthy coat)

The addition of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids ensures healthy skin and a shiny coat. Omega 6 fatty acids are found in specific vegetable oils. An additional supplement to Complete products with fish, provides essential omega 3 fatty acids. Thanks to this, the optimal ratio of omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids is obtained.

Anti Hairball (Prevention of hairballs)

Special natural fibers reduce the risk of hairballs in the stomach and intestines.

Odour Control (Neutralization of odors)

All Complete feeds contain jukki extract. It binds ammonia and other components responsible for the odors of feces. In this way, unpleasant odors are largely limited.
