Feathers made of fibrillon - a combination of polyethylene and fiberglass easy to spread out when not needed.

The rigid strong, yet lightweight bar is made of duralumin. In the middle of it is a simple and reliable system for connecting two parts of the paddle. One part enters the other, after which the latch permanently connects the two parts, leaving no slack at the place of connection. It is released by pressing a button, which breaks the paddle into two parts.

Compared to the Swell model, the pen in the Swift model is shorter more oval, more rigid, making it better suited for the river.
