Hardened carbon steel used in the production of CTX tools is characterized by a high carbon content in the composition, which translates into their strength and reliability.
Chrome vanadium steel is characterized by increased resistance to corrosion and rust formation. The addition of “chromium” alloy significantly improves the susceptibility of steel to hardening. The addition of vanadium alloy increases the ductility of steel during thermal processing, which positively affects the resistance to high temperatures.
