Smart codec Hikvision H.265

Encoding the signal using the H.265 algorithm allows you to optimize the basic functions of the camera. The H.265 codec algorithm enables better use of network bandwidth, significantly reduces interference and guarantees long archiving time without compromising image quality.

The use of the codec H.265 enables saving approx. 50% of space compared to the H.264+ version, and more than 90% compared to the older version of the codec - H.264.

Adjustable viewing angle

The 2,8-12 mm variable focal length lens allows you to adjust the viewing angle. In the photo below we can see how large an area our camera is able to capture. This is ideal where the identification of persons or vehicles is required.

Waterproof and durable housing

The camera can work flawlessly outdoors, regardless of the prevailing weather conditions due to the high resistance class IP67, provides protection against: dust, rain, large fluctuations in temperatures in the range of -30...+60 °C.

An additional advantage of the camera is high resistance to mechanical damage IK10. It should withstand impacts such as stone or even a stick. Recommended for places most exposed to vandalism.

IP camera with memory card slot + emergency recording

The camera also has a slot for microSD cards up to 256 GB, so the camera does not require an additional recorder to record the image. When the memory limit is exceeded, the camera automatically overwrites the oldest recordings. The capacity of 256 GB is enough for approx. 7 days of continuous recording in 25 fps. IP cameras with a memory card slot allow autonomous operation as a single-channel recorder so it is possible to create a complete monitoring system based on only one device.

An interesting feature used in selected Hikvision products for network monitoring is the ANR (Automatic Network Replenishment) function. This service ensures continuity of recording in case of failure, disconnection or loss of connection between the camera and the recorder. After solving the problem, the recording is automatically synchronized, and in the absence of a video recorder will download the missing clip directly from the camera.
