DS-2CD2163G2-LIS2U is a dome IP camera with a fixed lens and illuminator working in white or infrared light technology at a distance of 30 meters. The device comes from the Hikvision Smart Hybrid Light series and is equipped with AcuSense technologies. The camera can work in three different night modes offering black and white image using IR diode, color when using visible light LED or SMART mode, which automatically changes IR mode to LED when human or vehicle is detected.

The use of an intelligent deep-learning algorithm allows you to trigger an alarm by a specific type of target (human / vehicle) and effectively filter out false alarms caused by, for example: animals, leaves, light. The camera has been enhanced with Wide Dynamic Range (WDR 120 dB) technology to provide bright and colorful imaging in virtually any lighting conditions. The device is equipped with a reset button, two microphones, a microSD card slot (512GB) and alarm and audio I/O. Thanks to PoE technology, the device perfectly integrates with other systems, while the tight and impact-resistant housing (IP67; IK10) allows external installation in difficult conditions.

Smart Hybrid Light - is a series of IP cameras equipped with a dual lighting module. Each camera in this series is equipped with IR illuminators for discreet observation in night mode and additional LED lighting, which is activated when a human or vehicle is detected.

Intelligent Smart mode provides automatic switching between infrared and visible LED light, which guarantees optimal visibility and identification of objects. Once the interaction is complete, the camera intelligently returns to IR mode, ensuring continuous monitoring while maintaining energy efficiency.

AcuSense is primarily about detecting human and vehicle silhouettes, but also filtering alarms from sources other than people and vehicles. In addition, AcuSense series cameras, using the latest deep learning technology, are able to extract people and vehicles from a large video dataset and save snapshots of objects for efficient search.

Motion detection based on object recognition Motion Detection 2.0, MD2.0) – The technology based on a special algorithm first classifies objects (human/vehicle) and then in the second stage classifies motion. This allows for correct alerting regardless of the type of platform that will receive already developed alarm information, be it IVMS 4200, HikCentral or other Hikvision software. Thanks to the motion detection function with classification, we can count on high accuracy and effectiveness of alarming. It is enough to draw a standard motion detection grid (activity mask) and determine what type of objects are to be analyzed by the device.

ROI (Region of Interest) allows you to deliver high-quality recording only from the area selected by the user. In others outside the ROI, the camera transmits an image of inferior quality or does not transmit it at all.

WDR 120 dB improves the reproduction of the scene in case of large differences in the lighting level of different parts of the scene. Typical applications for this functionality are glazed passages, entrances to buildings, etc. This technology flawlessly copes with recording images in the presence of large contrasts of light, which so often can interfere with the correct operation of the camera.

3D DNR It causes multidimensional filtering of transducer pixels to remove noise-related effects in the recording resulting from interference (resulting, for example, from changes in signal intensity) and correct color rendering by the camera.

HLC automatically detects spots in the frame that are too exposed and then lowers their brightness. This allows you to see all the details, e.g. License plates of cars, which works best at night or in the case of monitoring the underground car park.

BLC is a technology used in video surveillance systems that improves image quality in difficult lighting conditions, especially in situations where the background is strongly illuminated and the foreground becomes underexposed.

AGC is the automatic adjustment of signal gain when necessary. If the signal level is too low, AGC increases its gain, and if it is too high, it in turn reduces the gain to avoid overdrive.

AWB is responsible for automatically adjusting the white balance in the image to ensure natural and accurate color reproduction. It works by analyzing the color of light in the frame and adjusting its color temperature so that all colors in the image look natural. Thanks to this, regardless of whether the camera is set in daylight, artificial light or other light source, the image will always have a natural and faithful color reproduction.

The HIkvision camera uses H.265+ compression to reduce network bandwidth occupancy and reduce disk occupancy in the recorder. At the same time, in order to maintain compatibility with other systems, it is possible to use standard H.264 compression.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a solution designed to carry out quick and uncomplicated installation of network devices and comfortable operation of equipment and easy modernization of installation. The PoE solution allows you to place the camera away from traditional power sources, which translates into saving the total number of wires necessary to start the device.
